19 aspiring veterinarians accepted into Elite 11 program at Nebraska
Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen and University of Nebraska leaders have recognized the first cohort of students to qualify for a uniquely designed program aimed at increasing the number of production animal veterinarians in the state. The awards include 29 Chancellor's Scholarships, 367 Regents Scholarships (including 106 Nebraska Top Scholars), 84 Nebraska Achievement Scholarships, 69 David Distinguished Scholarships, 641 James H. Canfield Scholarships, 81 Chancellor's Leadership Class scholarships and 351 University Honors Program textbook scholarships.
