Tommy Olson of Julesburg chosen as UNL Homecoming royalty finalist

Tommy Olson of Julesburg has been selected as a candidate for homecoming king at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Olson, a senior finance major, is the son of Tom and the late Stacie Olson.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote on Thursday, Sept. 24. They will be crowned Sept. 26 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Southern Miss football game, which kicks off at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium.
