Tiffany U-Lynn Chin of Subang Jaya wins Omaha Press Club Foundation scholarship

Tiffany U-Lynn Chin of Subang Jaya is one of five students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications who will be awarded $9,500 in scholarships by the Omaha Press Club Foundation in an April 25 dinner at the Omaha Press Club.

Chin, a junior broadcasting production major, will be given a $2,500 John F. Davis Scholarship. An intern at Channel 8 KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Neb., Chin has made Dean's List for four consecutive semesters. Her academic concentrations include English, communication studies and history. Chin's parents are Chin Fook Khiang and Sally Cheah of Subang Jaya.
