Sydney Goldberg of St. Joseph chosen as Nebraska Homecoming royalty finalist

Sydney Goldberg of St. Joseph has been selected as a candidate for homecoming queen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Goldberg, a senior marketing major, is the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia Goldberg.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote Sept. 29. They will be crowned Oct. 1 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Illinois football game, which kicks off at 2:300 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
