Nathan Gregory Jarvis of Lincoln Graduates from University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Nathan Gregory Jarvis of Lincoln was among more than 2,800 students who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at commencement exercises May 4 and 5. It was the largest graduating class in UNL history.

Jarvis received a bachelor of science in criminology and criminal justice magna cum laude from the College of Public Affairs and Community Service (UNO).

The graduates are from 44 states and 38 countries.

Kwame Dawes, professor of English and Glenna Luschei Editor of the Prairie Schooner at UNL, addressed the May 4 postgraduate ceremony. Gen. C. Robert "Bob" Kehler, commander of the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base, addressed the May 5 baccalaureate ceremony. Jeffrey Toobin, a staff writer for the New Yorker and senior analyst for CNN, will gave the address at the May 5 College of Law ceremony.
