Micheala Marie Olsen of Hampton Graduates from University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Micheala Marie Olsen of Hampton was among more than 2,800 students who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at commencement exercises May 4 and 5. It was the largest graduating class in UNL history.

Olsen received a bachelor of science in hospitality, restaurant and tourism management from the College of Education and Human Sciences.

The graduates are from 44 states and 38 countries.

Kwame Dawes, professor of English and Glenna Luschei Editor of the Prairie Schooner at UNL, addressed the May 4 postgraduate ceremony. Gen. C. Robert "Bob" Kehler, commander of the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base, addressed the May 5 baccalaureate ceremony. Jeffrey Toobin, a staff writer for the New Yorker and senior analyst for CNN, will gave the address at the May 5 College of Law ceremony.
