Melissa Nordboe of Ames receives UNL degree

Melissa Marie Nordboe of Ames was among nearly 800 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the summer all-university commencement ceremony Aug. 13 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Nordboe earned a bachelor of science in agricultural education from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

Melanie Simpson, Willa Cather professor of biochemistry at UNL, associate director of the University of Nebraska's Center for Biotechnology and a member of the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, delivered the commencement address. Chancellor Ronnie Green presided over the ceremony.
