Matthew Foley of Lincoln chosen as Nebraska Homecoming royalty finalist

Matthew Foley of Lincoln has been selected as a candidate for homecoming king at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Foley, a senior economics, management-entrepreneurship and innovation major, is the son of Mike and Susan Foley.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote Sept. 29. They will be crowned Oct. 1 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Illinois football game, which kicks off at 2:300 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
