Markus Schoof of Leipzig earns UNL's highest honor

Markus Schoof of Leipzig will be one of 32 University of Nebraska-Lincoln seniors to receive UNL's highest undergraduate academic honor April 13 at the All-University Honors Convocation. Schoof will be recognized as a Chancellor's Scholar, a student who graduated in December or will graduate in May or August with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in all collegiate work at UNL and elsewhere.

Schoof is a history, political science and global studies major in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is the son of Christian Jentzsch and Daniela Budak. His host parents are Walter and Karin Ostmann of Eagle, Neb.
