Linsey Armstrong of Scribner chosen as Nebraska Homecoming royalty finalist

Linsey Armstrong of Scribner has been selected as a candidate for homecoming queen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Armstrong, a senior advertising and public relations major, is the daughter of Elmer and Jane Armstrong.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote Sept. 29. They will be crowned Oct. 1 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Illinois football game, which kicks off at 2:300 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
