Kirstie Smith of Potter inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

Kirstie Anna Smith of Potter was among 40 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students initiated into membership in Phi Beta Kappa on April 30.

Smith, a biological sciences and theatre performance major, is the daughter of (Joseph) Casey and Claire Smith of Potter. She graduated May 9.

Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest academic honor society, recognizing and encouraging a commitment to excellence in the liberal arts and sciences.
