Kayla German of Roca chosen as UNL Homecoming royalty finalist

Kayla German of Roca has been selected as a candidate for homecoming queen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

German, a senior nursing major, is the daughter of Ron and Barb German.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote on Thursday, Sept. 24. They will be crowned Sept. 26 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Southern Miss football game, which kicks off at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium.
