Justin Johnson of Overton earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Justin Reid Johnson of Overton was among about 1,400 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 16-17 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Johnson earned a bachelor of arts from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Sebastian Elbaum, Bessey Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Nebraska, delivered the address at the graduate and professional degrees ceremony Dec. 16. Chuck Hagel, former U.S. senator and former secretary of defense, gave the address at the undergraduate commencement Dec. 17. Chancellor Ronnie Green presided over the ceremonies.
