Janae Aune of Fairfax chosen as Homecoming royalty finalist at Nebraska

Janae Aune of Fairfax has been selected as a candidate for Homecoming queen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Aune, a senior political science and economics major, is the daughter of Craig and Joan Aune.

The Homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote Sept. 21. They will be crowned Sept. 23 at halftime of the Nebraska-Rutgers football game, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
