Gloria Kimbulu of Lincoln earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Gloria Ndjoka Kimbulu of Lincoln was among about 1,400 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 16-17 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Kimbulu earned a bachelor of journalism from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Sebastian Elbaum, Bessey Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Nebraska, delivered the address at the graduate and professional degrees ceremony Dec. 16. Chuck Hagel, former U.S. senator and former secretary of defense, gave the address at the undergraduate commencement Dec. 17. Chancellor Ronnie Green presided over the ceremonies.
