Elizabeth Uehling of Oakland chosen as UNL Homecoming royalty finalist

Elizabeth Uehling of Oakland has been selected as a candidate for homecoming queen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Uehling, a senior agricultural and environmental sciences communications major, is the daughter of Jay and Sheryl Uehling.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote on Thursday, Sept. 24. They will be crowned Sept. 26 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Southern Miss football game, which kicks off at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium.
