Daric Teske of Buffalo receives University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Daric Dale Teske of Buffalo was among nearly 3,200 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 4 and 5.

Teske earned a Bachelor of Science with high distinction from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alexander Payne delivered the address at the undergraduate commencement and received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from the university. John W. Maag, professor of special education and communication disorders at Nebraska, spoke at the graduate and professional degrees ceremony.

The College of Law conducted a separate commencement ceremony May 5 at the Lied Center. Nebraska Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Funke addressed the law graduates. Earl and Patricia Scudder, alumni and longtime supporters of the university, received a Builder Award during the ceremony.
