Daniel Baer of Sioux Falls receives University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Daniel Morgan Baer of Sioux Falls was among 1,488 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 15 and 16.

Baer earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Gwendolyn M. Combs, associate professor of management in the College of Business, delivered the address at the graduate and professional degrees ceremony. Chancellor Ronnie Green bestowed Nebraska's prestigious Cather Medal upon James B. Milliken, former president of the University of Nebraska system and chancellor of The City University of New York, during the undergraduate ceremony.
