Catherine Dedick of Lincoln Graduates from University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Catherine Rose Dedick of Lincoln was among some 1,500 students who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at commencement exercises Dec. 14 and 15.

Dedick received a bachelor of arts with distinction from the College of Fine and Performing Arts.

The graduates are from 34 states and 28 countries.

Chris. R. Calkins, professor of animal science at UNL, gave the address at the graduate degree ceremony on Dec. 14; Jeff Zeleny, the national political correspondent for the New York Times, gave the address at the baccalaureate ceremony on Dec. 15; and Judge Michael W. Pirtle of the Nebraska Court of Appeals gave the address at the law ceremony on Dec. 14.
