Callie Meyer of Brule receives University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Callie Rosalind Meyer of Brule was among 1,488 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 15 and 16.

Meyer earned a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

Gwendolyn M. Combs, associate professor of management in the College of Business, delivered the address at the graduate and professional degrees ceremony. Chancellor Ronnie Green bestowed Nebraska's prestigious Cather Medal upon James B. Milliken, former president of the University of Nebraska system and chancellor of The City University of New York, during the undergraduate ceremony.
