Benjamin Powell of Lincoln named Chancellor's Scholar

Benjamin James Powell of Lincoln is one of 26 UNL seniors who will be recognized as a Chancellor's Scholar during the All-University Honors Convocation at 2 p.m. April 12 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Powell is a secondary education-English major in the College of Education and Human Sciences. He is the son of Mark and Kristin Powell .

Chancellor's Scholars are students who graduated in December or who will receive their degrees in May or August and have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at UNL and elsewhere.
