Ann Himes of Omaha chosen as UNL Homecoming royalty finalist

Ann Himes of Omaha has been selected as a candidate for homecoming queen at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Himes, a senior Russian, global studies and history major, is the daughter of Timothy and Amy Himes.

The homecoming king and queen will be elected by the student body in an online vote on Thursday, Sept. 24. They will be crowned Sept. 26 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Southern Miss football game, which kicks off at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium.
