Andrew Blazek of Omaha named Chancellor's Scholar

Andrew John Blazek of Omaha is one of 26 UNL seniors who will be recognized as a Chancellor's Scholar during the All-University Honors Convocation at 2 p.m. April 12 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Blazek is a biochemistry and Spanish major in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is the son of Peter and Jennifer Blazek and Andy and Jean Hearn.

Chancellor's Scholars are students who graduated in December or who will receive their degrees in May or August and have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at UNL and elsewhere.
