Amy Vanderpool of Lincoln Graduates from University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Amy Marie Vanderpool of Lincoln was among some 800 students who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at commencement exercises Aug. 10 and 11.

Vanderpool received a bachelor of arts from the College of Arts and Sciences.

The graduates are from 33 states and 31 countries.

Chancellor Harvey Perlman presided at both ceremonies. Carolyn Pope Edwards, Willa Cather Professor of Psychology and a professor of Child, Youth and Family Studies at UNL, gave the address at the postgraduate ceremony on Aug. 10. Dennis Molfese, Chancellor's Professor and professor of special education and communications disorders at UNL, gave the address at the baccalaureate ceremony on Aug. 11.
