Amanda Gangwish of Bellevue earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Amanda Jo Gangwish of Bellevue was among about 1,400 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 16-17 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Gangwish earned a bachelor of science from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Sebastian Elbaum, Bessey Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Nebraska, delivered the address at the graduate and professional degrees ceremony Dec. 16. Chuck Hagel, former U.S. senator and former secretary of defense, gave the address at the undergraduate commencement Dec. 17. Chancellor Ronnie Green presided over the ceremonies.
